Haven of the Embraced is a text-based multi-user dungeon set in White Wolf Publishing's Classic World of Darkness, specifically the Dark Ages setting. For over 20 years, it has been continuously developed on a heavily modified ROM codebase, with deep original additions replacing stock systems to work within the D10 ruleset.
The world is expansive, boasting close to 10,000 linked rooms. Miles of European wilderness cross the map, connecting dark, treacherous cities and sprawling adventure zones. Every corner holds danger, intrigue, or both.
Haven is RP-Encouraged — a blend of Hack & Slash and Roleplay mechanics. Storyteller-run events enrich the living narrative, and meaningful roleplay is rewarded with experience, Freebies, and unique items.
